Office Plants & Plant Service in Long Beach

Long Beach sits at the center of our two-county service map — where the Los Angeles routes meet the Orange County ones — and we've been driving both since 1986. Design, installation, and guaranteed plant care for offices, towers, restaurants, and waterfront workplaces.

The middle of our map

Where our two counties meet

Most plant companies treat Long Beach as the far edge of their territory. For us it's the opposite: the bridge point. Our crews have run daily routes across Los Angeles County and Orange County for nearly four decades, and Long Beach is where those routes converge — trucks pass through constantly, headed in both directions. That geography does real work for you: quick scheduling, easy extra visits before an event or an important meeting, and no "you're outside our zone" surcharges.

It shapes the plants themselves, too. We hand-pick every specimen from our partner nurseries in both Los Angeles and Orange County, which means a Long Beach account draws from the full range of both growing regions. Our office plant service starts with a free on-site walk-through; the written proposal — plants, containers, placement, and an exact monthly number — arrives within one business day.

Office Plant Design & Installation

We walk your floor, map the light, and design a plan to fit it — then our own crew installs everything, decorative containers included. No subcontractors, ever; the people who plant your space are the people who answer for it.

Plant Leasing

Our Maintenance Lease with Guarantee rolls plants, containers, guaranteed care, and free replacements into one monthly rate — a one-time installation fee, quoted in your proposal, keeps upfront cost far below buying outright, and the plants and pots are yours at the end of the lease.

Around town

A working waterfront, and everything behind it

Few cities pack this much variety into one workday. Long Beach runs from downtown towers and waterfront corporate campuses to the trade and logistics offices that keep the port moving, with a creative scene taking root in renovated brick buildings along the way. Each of those spaces asks something different of its greenery:

  • Downtown towers & waterfront campuses — lobby specimens scaled to the architecture, and suite programs tenants actually notice
  • Port-adjacent logistics & trade headquarters — durable, low-fuss planting for offices that start early and run hard
  • Medical & professional buildings — immaculately groomed plants for waiting rooms, suites, and corridors
  • Creative offices in renovated brick — sculptural specimens with the presence to stand up to exposed brick and timber
  • Hotels & restaurants — dining rooms, lobbies, and event spaces dressed for the convention and waterfront crowd, designed and cared for on one account

Why a family company

Two generations, one standard

Augustin started Area Indoor Plants in 1986; today his son Luca works the business alongside him. Nearly forty years in, the model hasn't changed: the family quotes the work, our own crew performs it — never subcontractors — and the same faces show up at your door visit after visit. When something isn't right, you call the owner, not an account queue.

Call (818) 957-8719 or request a free proposal. We'll walk your Long Beach space for free and put an exact written number in your hands within one business day.

Questions

Local questions, answered

Do you cover both Los Angeles and Orange County from one company?

Yes — we've run both counties since 1986, and Long Beach is where the two halves of our service map meet. Our crews pass through headed in both directions, so a Long Beach account slots naturally into routes we already drive. If your company has locations in both counties, one walk-through, one proposal, and one crew can cover all of them.

How much does office plant service cost in Long Beach?

Every-other-week service starts at $225 per month, and most programs land between $225 and $450 per month depending on plant count and visit frequency. If you'd rather not buy the plants outright, our Maintenance Lease with Guarantee puts plants, containers, and fully guaranteed care into one monthly rate. The walk-through is free, and your written proposal arrives within one business day.

Can you handle the lobby of a tower or multi-tenant building?

Yes. Lobbies are the hardest-working rooms we plant — every tenant and visitor walks through daily — so we scale the specimens to the ceiling height, choose containers that suit the finishes, and schedule care visits around building traffic. On our Guarantee plans, any plant that starts to decline is replaced free, so the first thing people see never looks tired.

What about interior spaces with little or no natural light?

Deep floor plates and windowless corridors are common in larger buildings, and we plan for them. For living plants we choose varieties that genuinely tolerate low light; for spots with none at all, a preserved moss wall needs no water, light, or plumbing, and The Plant Artist — our design studio — builds custom faux trees and botanical light fixtures that look right year-round with zero care.
